Gary Myers has been a working musician since 1960, on drums, vocals, guitar and bass. Residing in the Greater Los Angeles area since 1966, he has continued playing while also having written several articles for record collector's publications. In 1994, to  publish his first book, he formed the company that subsequently became MusicGem.
